Her automobile industry experience includes time as a salesperson, finance manager and sales manager before taking on the role of Assistant to the President. Customer service is Kitty's number one priority, so that's Ruth's first priority as well-and she means it when she says, "Don't hesitate to call me when you need me!"
When she's not serving Van Bortel customers, Ruth enjoys snowmobiling with the family, cross-country skiing, biking and reading. In 1998, Ruth was voted Employee of the Year.

"We shall someday be heeded, and .... Everybody will think it was always so, just exactly as many young people think that all the privileges, all the freedom, all the enjoyments which women now possess always were hers.
